Restaurants & going out

Fashionable and traditional elements are perfectly blended in the diversity of world kitchens within the restaurants of The Hague.

You will have plenty to choose from if you are a fan of Italian, French, Spanish, Mexican and Asian cooking. Anything goes in The Hague’s culinary hotspots; from a quick snack or tapas on the terrace to a comprehensive meal with an expert explanation of the wine list. Wander along the Avenue Culinair in the Dunne Bierkade or the Prinsestraat for the trendiest restaurants. Chinatown, with its dim sum, sushi and noodle restaurants is also a ‘must’ for those who like to try something a bit different. Scheveningen, the Hague’s seaside resort, lends itself perfectly to a meal at sunset and the port at Scheveningen is a particularly dynamic backdrop for an atmospheric stroll or tasty intermezzos.

Fancy an evening out? The Grote Markt and Plein are the best places for attractive bars and cafés in the city centre. They are also home to the well known clubs Paard van Troje and Club Seven.
