Due to practical and operational reasons, the organisers of the Royal Beach Concert have been forced to change the date of the Royal Beach Concert planned for the 4th of June in Scheveningen.
The organisers of the Royal Beach Concert today announced that the decision had been taken to move the event to a later date.
“We are aware of the huge impact that this will have, but our main concern is to provide consumers with assurance that the event will still take place. The new planned date is the 27th of August. Talks are currently being held with the city council about a new location: the Maliveld. And we will be able provide complete clarity on this within two weeks,” according to Bob Reiche.
The beach concert that was planned for the 4th of June – with performances from stars such as Elton John, Bryan Adams, Golden and Do – is presently being hampered by a number of operational issues.
“Moving the event gives us the opportunity to find solutions. It’s wiser to move the concert, so that we can fully guarantee the intended quality of the event,” says Reiche.
The Royal Beach Concert is the annual event that focuses on the combination of sun, sand and greatest hits.
